Undead Fortune
Undead Fortune, by Hacksaw Gaming, is an online slot with various features, played across a 5x4 game grid and 10 paylines.
Undead Fortune Game Overview
You may think Undead Fortune is just another horror-themed slot. However, there is much more to it than meets the eye.
Although this new slot game was developed based on previous slot releases, it offers some unique features. Some of these are the walking duels, expanding duel reels, and the curse bonus round. And what's more, you can potentially win as much as 10,000x your stake in this highly volatile slot!
How To Play
The first thing to do is to place your wager. Stakes range from 10p up to £10 per spin on the New Online Slots casino. Use the up and down arrows, next to the spin button, to select your preferred stake.
Next, check out the menu button represented by three short horizontal lines, for any other information and settings. The menu icon also holds the paytable and game rules. Then, you can press the spin button to enjoy the thrill of the Undead Fortune slot!
Winning combinations happen if you land up to three matching symbols across a fixed payline. However, only wins that occur from left to right on the grid count. If perhaps potential wins land across different paylines, then the added values of the wins will be remitted to you.
Regular Symbols
The Regular paying symbols include different kinds of monsters and weirdly shaped card symbols - A, J, K, Q, and 10.
Monsters are the high-paying symbols, and they can earn you between 4x and 10x your stake if you land five matching symbols across a payline.
As for the card symbols, these also have different worths, depending on how many you land across a payline. For example, if you land five matching 10, or J symbols, it can earn you up to 1x your bet. Meanwhile, Q and K are worth 1.2x your stake for a five-of-a-kind combination.
A's card faces are the highest-paying among the bunch. They can award you up to 1.5x your wager if you land five in a winning combination.
Finally, you can hit wild symbols. These can appear on any reel and substitute for any regular paying symbol. Even better, they can award you up to 10x your bet if you land them solely in a five-of-a-kind match.
Other symbols include:
- Vs Walk: which triggers the Walking Duels Feature.
- Vs Expand: which triggers the Expanding DuelReels Feature
- Curse Symbol: which appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 only and can activate the Curse feature if 3+ land in a single spin
- Tomb symbol: which can only appear on reels 1, 3, and 5 and may trigger the Tomb feature
- Vs, Vs Epic, and ghostly star: which only appears in the Tomb feature
The Curse Feature
This feature activates when three or more scattered Curse symbols appear in a spin on the first, third, and fifth reels. If this happens, you get up to 10 free spins. The good thing is that you are more likely to trigger other bonus features during these spins.
Walking Duels Feature
You proceed to this stage if one or more Vs Walk scatter symbols appear anywhere on the playing grid. Once this happens, the character transforms into a walking wild and expands to occupy the entire reel. It will also reveal a random monster that it will battle. If the wild conquers the beast, you earn a multiplier between 2x and 200x and a respin.
After which, the entire wild reel possibly moves to the left, causing a new monster duel. Note that the multiplier will affect any potential win in which it participates. And if you get more than one walking duel in a spin, the multipliers will sum up before application. Meanwhile, it’s possible to land another Vs Walk scatter during the free spins, and the cycle continues.
This feature continues until you fail to land a monster duel wild.
Expanding DuelReels Feature
Landing scattered Vs Expand symbols on the second, fourth and fifth reels will unlock the Expanding DuelReels Feature. It will cause the wild symbols to expand and occupy the entire reel before revealing a monster and a multiplier. Then, of course, the wild will duel with the beast, and the result of the battle will determine what happens next.
The monster's victory will mean that the multiplier value between 2x and 200x will immediately apply to any potential win connected to it. You may benefit from this, but the better option might be the reverse which you'll see below.
If you defeat the monster, it'll cause the wild symbol to expand once again to the left, unless it is already at the edge of the board. This action will prompt the display of another monster and multiplier, invariably causing a new battle.
If you still manage to defeat the monster during this latest round, you'll get the sum of the two multipliers. If perhaps the reel cannot any longer move to the left, you get all the possible connected wins affected by the multiplier.
Note that the Walking Vs and Expanding Wild cannot appear on the reels at the same time.
Tomb Bonus Feature
This feature can be triggered if you hit three scattered Tomb symbols on the first, third, and fifth reels. At the start, some reels are locked, and you get multipliers atop each game reel.
If perhaps you land Tomb Vs symbols on a reel that is not locked, it'll earn you a win multiplier (between 2x and 200x) plus the appearance of a monster. As usual, the characters will engage the beast in a duel. If the monster loses, the value of the multiplier will immediately add to the one above the affected reel.
However, the reel will become locked if the monster wins. The feature ends if all five reels lock. But not to worry, you can unlock a locked reel if four unlock symbols land on it. Even better, a golden unlock symbol can open all possibly locked reels if it appears on the playing grid.
Another symbol that can land during this feature is the Epic Vs scatter. It will activate a duel on the entire game grid if it lands. Hence, monsters and multipliers will appear all over the reels. Winning all the monsters will cause active multiplier values to multiply by a value between 2x and 20x. Or a random value between 25 and 100 adds to the active multipliers tally.
On the other hand, if the monsters win, the affected reel - the reel that held the triggering symbol becomes locked.
Undead Fortune RTP
Return To Player (RTP): 92.28%.
The RTP is a theoretical value and is shown as a percentage. It’s used to describe the percentage of money wagered a particular casino game may pay back to players over a certain period of time.
For example, if a game had a RTP of 92%, in theory, this would mean that for every £100 wagered, the game could return £92 back to players in potential winnings. However, it is important to note that winnings are completely random, and players are not guaranteed to receive this.
